Charbell RZ is a red-veined hybrid Swiss chard variety. It has an excellent dark green leaf and very good dark red stem color.
The red vein color is equally visible on the back of the leaf meaning the visual quality is further improved when compared to standard varieties. Charbell RZ has a strong leaf stem and provides an upright growing habit, good field standability and high yield potential.
A fantastic disease resistance package offers great canopy health and means Charbell RZ can be grown year-round. This variety has excellent field holding ability, it’s a real stand-out in mid-summer.
Charbell RZ has intermediate resistance against Cercospora (Cb) and is suitable for baby leaf production for all regions.
