The leaf color is deep green with heavy incising and high uniformity. The vein color is consistent red in warm as well as cool growing periods. Nemesis has a medium growth speed, making it flexible to plant during several periods of the year, the bolting behavior is moderate, comparable with Sinope RZ. Nemesis boasts a strong intermediate resistance package to DM, better than most other varieties in its segment.
